Why CARY Robotics and Programming?

Fun Approach using Math, Logical Thinking and Imagination

Solve Real World Challenges

using Robotics and Programming

Empower students

to solve tomorrow's challenges by engaging by asking them questions they can relate to and helping them use technology that is fun to use.

After School Activities

Use the LEGO® WeDo 2.0 system in Junior Robotics

&

LEGO® MindStorm EV3 in Advanced Robotics

AdvanceRobotics

Get exposed to working with computers, motors and sensors.

Learn leadership skills and work in groups.

Join us for After-School Activities

Join us for After-School Activities, STEM Camps, Team Programs and Birthday Parties to enhance understanding about the problems we face through Logical Thinking, Computer Programming and Robotics.

1. Junior Robotics and Math

We use the LEGO® WeDo 2.0 software that provides an excellent platform for science learning, offering an innovative way for students to model reality, conduct investigations, and use design skills.

2. Advanced Robotics and Math

Students learn STEM with best-in-class Robotics. Design, Build, Program and Test Robots that can Complete Complex Tasks, Record Live Data, respond to Environmental Changes and more.

Junior Robotics and Math

A Three-Phase Approach

  • Explore & Research
  • Design & Create
  • Play & Share

Students connect with real-world issues in the Explore & Research phase during which they will be asked to solve problems. They will build, program and modify their designs in the Design & Create phase. Lastly, in the Play & Share phase students document and present their findings to their peers and play with what they built.

Software and Apps

We use the LEGO® WeDo 2.0 software that provides an excellent platform for science learning, offering an innovative way for students to model reality, conduct investigations, and use design skills.

The WeDo 2.0 software teaches programming in an intuitive way – letting students bring their creations to life while sharpening their computational thinking skills like logical reasoning, pattern recognition, and modeling simulations. The software also features a colorful drag and drop interface that is easy for students to use and understand.

Advanced Robotics

From Concept to An Actual Robot

Advanced Robotics and Math

Students learn STEM with best-in-class Robotics. Design, build, program and test robots that can complete complex tasks, record live data, respond to environmental changes and more. Bring technology, science and computer programming to life with hands-on, project-based STEM learning using best-in-class robotics solutions. The only limit is your child’s imagination.

LEGO® MINDSTORMS Education EV3 lets students design and build programmable robots using high quality motors, sensors, gears, wheels, axles, and other technical components.

By using hands-on robotics, students will: Produce simple sequences and commands that link cause and effect using input/output devices. Use intuitive prediction tools to gain first-hand experience in forming hypotheses. And integrate math and science using physical constraints, units of measurement, coordinate systems, min, max, mean, and linear.

Software and Apps

Bring the models to life using the powerful, easy to use LEGO® MINDSTORMS Education EV3 software. Students program their creations using an intuitive drag and drop interface that allows them to evolve simple commands into complex algorithms.
